The Chartered College is keen to support teachers to engage with research and share practice on how and when technology use in schools can be effective, and when it can be ineffective or even have a negative impact. As part of this, we have two exciting opportunities to contribute to about using technology to support teaching and learning.
A special issue of Impact will be published in January 2019, in addition to our usual termly publication, and this will be sent to all members and to all schools in England. The call for papers for this issue is now open, containing full details of topics and article types sought. Brief abstracts should be submitted by 13th August.
As well as written pieces for the special issue, we are also seeking schools who are using technology to support different aspects of pedagogy, curriculum and assessment or teacher development who would be interested in having their practice filmed to be included in a video case study.
